OUTSIDE EXHIBIT MANAGER
- Update and keep a schedule of artists who are to hang their artwork in the outside venues
- Create a call list each year for people who will hang on short notice in an emergency
- Require artists to hang a biography along with their artwork
- Require artists to fill out and attach Outside Exhibit Artwork Tag to front of each piece, as this clearly identifies that the artist is from the York Art Association and acknowledges the 25% commission that YAA receives from each sale. These tags are available on our website at www.yorkartassociation.com . They should also be kept on hand by the chair person and at the YAA Gallery for easy pick-up or to be mailed to artist as needed.
- Remind artists there is a 25% commission to YAA for all sales made from these outside venues
- Visit venues to maintain a professional appearance
- Give the merchants your contact info in case of a problem
